Luke Beardmore is a 38-year-old firefighter from Manningtree, Essex, with a lifelong passion for motorsport. After years of dreaming of racing but never being in the position to pursue it, Luke finally achieved his goal in 2025 by gaining his racing licence and competing in his first full season of motorsport. Balancing the demands of frontline emergency service with life on the track, Luke’s journey is a testament to perseverance, late starts, and proving that it’s never too late to chase a dream. The 2025 season saw him contest the Roadsports Championship in a Mazda RX-8 on an arrive-and-drive basis with the excellent Rocketdog Racing team, based in South Wales. Achieving multiple podium finish's along the way.
For 2026, Luke will step into his own Mazda RX-8, with Rocketdog continuing to prepare and run the car, marking an exciting new chapter in his racing career
